SUMMARY:Dementia-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh Faith-Based Leadership Breakfast Series - South Region
DESCRIPTION:Our Dementia-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh initiative works to ensure that the specific needs of those living with dementia and their care partners are addressed\, and that additional sectors such as the faith community\, medical community\, business community\, first responders and others are included in the dialogue. In partnership with Age-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh and with support from the Alzheimer’s Association and other partners\, we are building collaboration to educate\, engage and support those living with dementias and their care partners.\n\nDementia-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh is hosting four Faith-Based Leadership Breakfasts throughout Allegheny County in June. At the breakfasts\, we will discuss the basics of dementia and how faith-based communities can adapt their programming and provide support to those living with dementia and their care partners.
